What Is Slingo Lightning?

Slingo Lightning, from Slingo Originals, merges features from slots and classic 50-ball bingo. Players use a 50-ball ticket, aiming to make matches on a grid for potential rewards during each round.

What Is the Aim of the Game?

The objective is to match numbers on the spinning reels to numbers displayed on your grid. Completing horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines—known as Slingos—earns rewards. Each Slingo boosts the cash prize, and achieving a full house, plus various line combinations, offers different prize payouts as detailed on the in-game paytable.

How Do I Play Slingo Lightning?

  1. Choose Your Stake:
Select your preferred stake size, from £0.20 up to £1.00. Once chosen, start the game.
  2. Main Game Mechanics:
    • You receive 8 spins per game.
    • On each spin, reel numbers may match numbers present on your grid.
    • Matched numbers are marked, helping you complete Slingos for rewards.
  3. Special Symbols:
    • Lightning Bolts: Let you mark any number in the row directly above their position.
    • Super Lightning Bolts: Enable you to mark any number anywhere on the grid.
    • Crosses: Act as blockers that prevent marks in their positions.
    • Free Spin Symbols: Award an extra spin during the main game (not present during extra spins).
  4. Winning:
    • Your potential cash reward rises with each Slingo (line) you complete.
    • As you progress, upcoming win opportunities are shown, and key numbers are highlighted on the grid.

How Do Extra Spins Work?

  • After the initial 8 spins in the base game, you may purchase extra spins for another chance to form more Slingos.
  • The price per extra spin is based on your grid progress and possible prizes, and may exceed your base stake. The current price appears on the spin button.
  • You can set limits on the number of extra spins offered via the play controls menu.
  • Certain line prizes may require acquiring Lightning Bolts during extra spins.

What Are the Available Play Controls?

  • Open the menu to access various play settings and limits.
  • You may set maximum limits for:
    • The number of extra spins you can be offered per game
    • The purchase price for extra spins
    • Your single game stake
    • Your total allowed loss per game
  • If any limit is reached, the game will end automatically.

Are Strategies Available in Slingo Lightning?

  • When using Lightning Bolts or Super Lightning Bolts, choose to mark positions that help you complete more Slingos efficiently.
  • Focus on positions that are part of multiple winning lines, like the centre square, which counts toward horizontal, vertical, and diagonal Slingos.
  • If several positions offer equal benefit, the game will choose at random between them.

Can I Play Free Games?

  • Free games may be awarded and are played at a fixed stake value.
  • After completing a free game, you can collect any winnings or continue by purchasing extra spins with available cash or bonus balance.
  • Winnings from free games are credited according to your combined cash and bonus stakes.
  • Free games are considered bonus cash plays within the game.

What Rules Should I Know?

  • During extra spins, free spin symbols do not appear on the reels.
  • The game’s expected payout information is visible in the game menu.
  • Any malfunction will void all plays and associated prizes.
  • Some extra spin prizes can only be won if Lightning Bolts have been collected as required.

How Do I Collect My Winnings or End My Game?

  • To end your session and claim your winnings, press the 'Collect' button at any time.
  • Alternatively, proceed by purchasing further spins as prompted by the game.
