What Is 5 Lions?

5 Lions is an online slot game developed by Pragmatic Play. It features a high volatility design and uses five reels. Players can choose from various symbols, payouts, and free spins options, with flexible bet settings. Wins are achieved by landing adjacent symbol combinations from left to right, beginning with the leftmost reel.

How Do Symbols and Payouts Work?

  • All symbol combinations must occur on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.
  • Different symbols pay for combinations of 3, 4, or 5 of a kind, with varying payouts depending on the symbol.
  • During the base game, there are 243 ways to win.
  • In the Free Spins Feature, the ways to win increase to 576.

What Are the Wild and Scatter Symbols?

How Does the Wild Symbol Function?

  • The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter.
  • It appears only on reels 2, 3, and 4.
  • Every spin, a random multiplier is assigned to the Wild: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 30x, or 40x.
  • If a winning combination includes at least one Wild, the win is multiplied by the selected multiplier.

What Does the Scatter Symbol Do?

  • The Scatter can land on all reels.
  • Three or more Scatter symbols on adjacent reels from left to right activate the Free Spins Feature.
  • Scatter payouts are as follows:
    • 3 Scatter symbols: 2x the total bet
    • 4 Scatter symbols: 5x the total bet
    • 5 Scatter symbols: 20x the total bet

How Does the Free Spins Feature Work?

  • In Free Spins, reels expand by adding three extra symbols to the top of reels 2, 3, and 4.
  • The game switches to a 576-ways-to-win format during Free Spins.
  • At the start of Free Spins, players select one of seven options, each offering different numbers of free spins and ranges of multipliers.
  • On each Free Spin, a random multiplier from the chosen range is applied to wins including at least one Wild symbol.
  • A Mystery option can be chosen, which randomly determines the number of free spins and multiplier range for the bonus round.
  • Free Spins can be retriggered with 3 or more Scatter symbols during the feature, and there is no set limit to the number of possible retriggers.

What Are the Main Game Rules?

  • This is a high volatility game, so wins may be less frequent but can be larger.
  • Only the highest win per combination is paid.
  • Wins from different ways are combined for the total win.
  • Free Spins winnings are added to payway wins, and all are multiplied by the base bet.
  • All displayed values are shown in coins.
  • If a malfunction occurs, all games and payouts are voided.

What Are the Bet Limits?

  • Minimum bet: £0.50
  • Maximum bet: £5.00
  • The return to player (RTP) information can be viewed within the game.
